Ph.D. Candidate
- Int. MSc: Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
Educational History
I am a researcher at the intersection of biology and physics, exploring cellular behaviour in cancer and wound healing. I completed my Integrated MSc in Biological Sciences from BITS Pilani, Pilani campus, and joined Emlab as the first PhD student in 2021. Using tools from mechanobiology and soft-matter physics, I study how variations in cellular forces and proteins, both in space and time, within epithelial tissues, contribute to cancer initiation and wound healing. Besides research, I'm always up for a run or a game of chess or getting lost in books. I am also passionate about science communication.
